All those terms you claim are pejorative are accurate descriptions of people’s actions - proven repeatedly over an extended period of time.

Your attempts to control the debate by declaring such terms as being unacceptable is proof of your own perfidy.

Having dozens of cousins in Israel (first cousins and their kids and grandkids) and having been visiting them in Tel Aviv and Petach Tikvah since 1968, the very idea of seeing places I love devastated by bombs and missiles in a war of choice sickens me. I don't know about you but, when I worked at AIPAC, I found very few of the top staff who cared much about Israel at all (big exceptions Ester Kurz and Doug Bloomfield) and some of the Orthodox kids that came and went. Most of them were in it for the power and influence being associated with AIPAC gave them. Steve Rosen couldn't find his way from Herzl Boulevard to Jaffa Road without a driver but, hey, he always had a driver. In my Zionist days of yore I really love Israel as a place, a place I knew well, surrounded by Washington types. Since then I have rejected Zionism in favor of one state with security and safety for two peoples as a way to end Palestinian suffering and prevent the loss of the amazing achievents of the early Zionists who somehow managed to create a pretty decent place, until the occupation. I should note that my wife was born in a DP camp in Germany to a family of Holocaust survivors, most of whom live in Greater T-A and are religious. So thank you for not lumping me in with Israel haters like Blumenthal and Greenwald or their ilk, who make my skin crawl. Keep writing!
