I imagine every American Jew and Friend of Israel -especially in Washington DC- is shocked, outraged, disgusted and perhaps thinking "There but for the grace of G-d..." at last night's murder of 2 Israeli Embassy staffers.
Thank you, Michael, for not ascribing the murders of Yaron Lischinsky ז״ל and Sarah Milgrim ז״ל to generalized antisemitism (like the "Tree of Life" massacre in Squirrel Hill) but to hatred of Israel. That does not make the murders any less heinous, but it does make them different.
As for the conspiracy mongers, to hell with them.
They are no different than those on the "other side" who refuse to feel compassion for the innocent victims in Gaza. These people are all the same, although it is in their natures to reject the analogy.
Meanwhile, I can't stop thinking of the parents of these two innocent people whose lives were destroyed forever by a phone call.
